Best place to buy Timken bearings? - practicalmachinist.c
They seem as good as Timken, but I have only seen them in automotive applications. There is a guy on ebay, I think it is Eagle Industrial that has some new/old stock Timken bearings. He might have some spindle grade Timken bearins. That would be what you would want for a milling spindle. I got some bearings off of him way cheaper than stock.

I want to see the bearing and COO on the bearing itself before buying it. Any one of the units mentioned are fine as long as they are first world manufacture. Watch out for Timken, i see more and more of their bearings with no COO on the bearing itself especially for Japanese imports, they are probably Chinese but who really knows.
